Logs and metrics

What the application printed, how it is doing, and being told when something is wrong.

Logs

The project's Overview follows the current deployment live. The Logs tab holds everything across deployments, with search by text, source and time.

Application and services
30 days
Build logs
90 days
Terminal
arrah logs my-api --follow
arrah logs my-api --search "connection refused" --hours 48

Secrets are masked before a line is stored, so a search can never show one.

Metrics

Four graphs per application — CPU, memory against its limit, requests and response time — for the last hour, 6 hours, day or week. One sample a minute, kept 7 days. A sleeping application shows a gap.

Notifications

Under Settings → Notifications, add a phone (through the free ntfy app), Slack, Discord or a signed webhook, and choose what to hear about:

  • A failed deployment, or a crashed application.
  • An application that restarted 3 times in 10 minutes, or stayed above 90% of its memory for 5 minutes.
  • A failed backup, restore or scheduled job.
  • An application that stopped answering its health check, and when it is back.
  • A request from an agent that needs your approval.
